Planted Earth is owned by Dan and Penny Doty. It is an expression of their combined creative and innovative talents! Liz, Penny and Dan's daughter and Cecilia, their granddaughter, continue the unique trend and family attitude towards customer service!

As you can see from the pictures, the store is eclectic and multifaceted.  We are a florist, a greenhouse, and a jewelry and antique store.

We also carry many gifts and items for Home Decor.  We learned years ago (founded 1971) that we could sell what we loved and that other would enjoy it too!

We do a lot of shabby chic and California living, as well as the traditional antiques.  The motif of the store changes from week to week because Penny and Dan are both Libras and can't stand to see things remain unchanged! The store occupies a Historical Registry home built in 1903.  It has 3,000 square feet of space on two floors.  We also have a  garden house of 2,500 square feet, that contains plants as well as garden decorations and quite a bit of furniture (kind-of our "over-flow" area!).
